Upon hiring from Ivanhoe Designer Hire, you are therefore declaring that you accept all our terms and conditions and will follow all the rules and procedures that come with hiring from our business. Please consider the following terms and conditions before you decide to hire with Ivanhoe Designer Hire, as these rules must be followed. Thank you.
The standard hire period for hiring a garment is 4 days, and it must be returned within this time frame. If an extended hire period is required, this may be arranged if notice is provided via direct message (Instagram) and prior to payment.
To book a garment for hire, or if you have any questions regarding sizing or availability, please contact Ivanhoe Designer Hire's Instagram via direct message for assistance. All bookings are made via DM, and the option of pick up or postage will be discussed prior to the booking. To secure a garment for hire, we require a full payment and a bond to ensure it is yours to hire for that time period.
If you have decided to rent a garment via express postage, we will notify you with your tracking number once the item has been sent out to you. We aim that your garment will arrive a couple days before your event, and it must be express shipped back to us within 2 days after the event, with a tracking number provided. Drop offs of garments within the hire period are also welcome. To make the return of the garment easier, when we express post the garment to you we will also supply you with an express return satchel. An additional $30 will be added to the hire cost to cover the expense of express posting the garment to you as well as you sending it back, as we do not cover shipping costs. If a garment is posted back to us outside of the 4 day hire period or express postage is not used, a $20/day fee will apply.
If you are picking up your garment, we will let you know the day it is available for pick up, whether that be a few days before the event or the day before. From there, we will discuss a time that suits us both for the pick up of the garment. You are more than welcome to return the garment back via a drop off to Ivanhoe Designer Hire, or via express postage. If you would like to drop of your garment after wear to us, please contact our Instagram to arrange a suitable time.
The cost of dry cleaning is included with the hire price, and will not be an additional fee. However, if the garment is damaged and requires extra fixing and dry cleaning, a payment may be required to Ivanhoe Designer Hire to cover this.
If your event is cancelled, or if you can no longer wear the garment, please notify us well in advance. We cannot provide refunds for the hire, however we can provide store credit for up to 6 months from when the rental was initially booked.
If you receive your garment and there is an issue with sizing/styling, the garment must be returned the day you received it via express postage or a drop off in order to receive store credit for another size or garment. If the size did not fit that you hired, you are more than welcome to exchange it for another size, only if its available. If you would prefer cancel your hire all together, we can only provide store credit up to 6 months for any sizing or styling issues.
When hiring our garments it is expected that they will be treated with the utmost care and respect, and be returned in the same condition you received it in. Any damages that occur while the garment is in your possession (including but is not limited to: stains, rips, pulls or tears) will be required to be compensated for. The client is fully liable for any damages that occur, and non-negotiable payment to us is required to repair the garment. In circumstances where the garment is damaged beyond repair, a payment of the full RRP must be made to replace the item.
A bond, which varies depending on the garment, must be provided with your rental payment to ensure the garment is returned back to us. If the garment is not returned, not only will you not receive your bond back, but the RRP of the garment must be paid to us so it can be replaced. Bonds are fully refundable if the garment is returned, and returned undamaged. When the garment is returned and without damage, the exact amount of the bond paid will be returned to you. The bond will be returned within 24 hours of the return of the garment.
A photo of your ID must be provided when booking a hire to ensure the garment is returned, and we have your details in case the garment is not returned. The photo of your ID will be deleted and removed from our possession once the garment is returned.
